KEYSTONE STATE CORVETTE CLUB is PROUD of its over 31 year record of charitable donations to the Spina Bifida Association of the Delaware Valley. This organization provides help to children and families in the Delaware Valley who are dealing with this spinal cord birth defect. Over 250,000 Americans are in the Spina Bifida Community. An estimated 70,000 people in the United States are currently living with spina bifida, the most common permanently disabling birth defect. Spina Bifida is a neural tube defect that happens in the first month of pregnancy when the spinal column doesn't close completely. There are 60 million women at risk of having a baby born with Spina Bifida. Everyday, an average of 8 babies are affected by Spina Bifida or a similar birth defect of the brain and spine. Each year, about 3,000 pregnancies are affected by these birth defects.

Each year a new Corvette, which is purchased from Penske Chevrolet, is raffled off at our annual drawing at the Club's Grande Ball in December. The winner does not need to be present to win. We have had winners from as far away as Texas and as near as the West Chester, PA area. Proceeds of the raffle in excess of the cost of the car and costs associated with running the raffle are donated to The Spina Bifida Association of the Delaware Valley. The total that KSCC has donated to the Spina Bifida Association of the Delaware Valley to over $330,000. Our 2007 Raffle was our 31th annual raffle benefiting Spina Bifida
